Yes, and this is compulsory. The CDT seeks to have 100% co-designed projects with end-users, and each supervisory team should involve an industrial partner representative. In some cases, the CDT will consider instead an overseas academic if these are in an ODA country. A partner letter of support must be submitted with your project proposal (email this to OneZoo@cardiff.ac.uk).
